Gayle Formation Theory

A research-based framework that defines, develops, and measures the formation of the whole person — from executive function and leadership to transferability, innovation, and human flourishing.

What it is

Gayle Formation Theory (GFT) is a developmental framework for understanding and measuring how human beings are formed — intellectually, relationally, and personally — across the years of schooling and beyond. It gives educators a shared language and a rigorous structure for the growth they have always cared about but rarely been able to quantify.

The need it answers

Schools are mandated to develop the whole child and a Portrait of a Graduate, yet most lack any defensible way to measure whether formation is actually occurring. GFT supplies the missing through-line: one coherent model that connects executive function, SEL, leadership, future readiness, and flourishing into a single, measurable account of student growth.

The same framework, every discipline.

From a chemistry lab to a choir room, GFT translates aspiration into observable, trackable formation.
